This sporting and spectacular course will reward your efforts.
The final part of the descent takes you through the most impressive section of the Tarn Gorges, known as the Straits: the canyon narrows, and you'll skirt magnificent, sheer cliffs in a breathtaking landscape. And, to top it all off, you'll have a few extra rapids to navigate for added thrills!
To see :
- The medieval village of Sainte-Enimie and the small monastery above the bridge;
- Saint-Chély-du-Tarn and its impressive resurgence;
- The 15th century Château de la Caze, converted into a hotel;
- Hauterives, accessible only by boat, with its many terraces: imagine them cultivated!
- La Malène;
- The Straits;
- The Cirque des Baumes.
